
THE DECALOGUE OF HAPPINESS
Happiness is an essential concept for us, to which we are entitled and we aspire. Becoming a Happy Eater means sharing our decalogue of happiness, so that together with food, life also becomes joy again:
1) EACH OF US IS DEEPLY DIFFERENT
Each of us is unique and unrepeatable and needs food that responds to his specific needs, "to each their own food". There is no standardized diet that is valid for everyone.
2) WE ARE WONDERFUL BEINGS WORTHY OF RESPECT AND LOVE
The starting point of every significant journey in life is to accept ourselves, to consider ourselves worthy of love, regardless of our weight and our state of health. To this day we have not failed, we are just on the path towards a full dialogue with our body and the power and self-esteem that comes from it.
3) WE ARE NOT A MACHINE AND WE ARE PART OF AN ECOSYSTEM
We are not a machine however an intricate balance of body, mind, soul. We learn to listen to the body and its messages, we activate a dialogue with the "home" of our health. We are not isolated, separate beings, as we often feel, we are complex and interconnected organisms, essential parts of a larger Whole.
4) FOOD IS NOT JUST CHEMISTRY BUT ABOVE ALL IT IS ENERGY
Food is not something measured only in proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins…food is above all the energy that has been crated, accumulated in its constitution and maturation process, it is vital force offered to us by nature
5) WE ARE WHAT WE EAT AND WE EAT WHAT WE ARE
We truly are what we eat and we eat precisely what we are, in a continuous circle of exchange and energetic flow that reinforces itself. Food "builds" us every day, and at the same time is the reflection of our physical state, our thoughts and our emotional state.
6) HEALTH IS BALANCE
When we are not healthy, we are overweight, it is a clear sign of an imbalance, not only physical, but also psychological and emotional. It is not enough acting on the surface, adopting a diet, perhaps unbalanced that sends us into deficiency, adding imbalance to imbalance. Our body is not hostile, it’s giving us a clear “positive” message to tell us that is now time to look after ourselves.
7) IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW, CHOOSE, EXPERIMENT
It is important to have our own food culture, which allows us to choose and experiment, to create the proper diet for our lifestyle, our needs, our food preferences. There are no easy ways or pills that work miracles, the true value is personal experience.
8) CREATE YOUR PERFECT DIET
If we want the result not to be ephemeral but stable and long-lasting, there are no predefined standard solutions, for each one of us health is a personalized journey. Shortcuts create illusions and do not solve the problem. We must take responsibility of managing our health and food to become a new person in a new body.
9) FOOD MUST REMAIN PLEASURE AND JOY
Food must remain a joy and not a cure. The commitment to achieve a result must always be combined with pleasure, knowing how to transgress when necessary, knowing how to give yourself cuddles and refreshments.
10) USING A METHOD IS THE SECRET OF SUCCESS
We do not have a ready solution, a universal magic remedy, but a method with clear guidelines that everyone must apply in a personalized way on a path destined for success.
