HOW MUCH

Eating too much is the first problem . What is important is quality and not quantity in relation to your physiology and the life you lead. You don't need a lot of food but quality food that doesn't fill you up (or worse, makes you bloated), but nourishes you with energy and not just chemical elements. The choice of food with respect to its energy becomes fundamental and the reversal of the trend whereby we are used to eating "a lot and badly" by starting to eat "little and well".

We have convinced ourselves that abundance is necessary to feel good . The lack of the past has pushed us to exceed in the opposite direction, and to consume a disproportionate quantity of poorly nutritious foods, which only burden our vital functions. We need little but selected food, highly nutritious and targeted to our real needs. Numerous studies demonstrate the highly beneficial effect of intermittent fasting as a tool for purification and health , and numerous food traditions demonstrate the importance of getting up from the table while always maintaining that little bit of appetite that tickles vitality, without reaching the point of satiety.

WHEN

It is important to eat the right things at the right time :

  • Breakfast is the engine of the day .
  • A morning snack stimulates our metabolism.
  • Lunch completes it and provides us with energy for our daytime functions.
  • An afternoon snack accompanies the end of the day.
  • The early and very simple dinner, almost nothing , brings us to sleep.

WHERE

Choose a pleasant and harmonious place , prepare your being to welcome food and enjoy it in peace and serenity, the context, the posture, the smells are important. When you eat, just eat , get in touch with your food and leave the rest alone

AS

Don't rush, abandon stress and take your time , chew long and taste calmly. Food is sacred, it must be a ritual, repeated and rhythmic to which you give maximum attention... in that moment you are building yourself.

Be rigorous but know how to transgress as an exception. Food must not become a cure but remain a joy

WITH WHO

If you are not alone, always look for good company so that food becomes sharing, a moment of togetherness to remember. Food is a caress for the body and for the soul , choose "soul mates" to eat.

WHAT

There are thousands of theories about food and thousands of foods available from all over the world. We are disoriented, there is a need to simplify, to return to the origins. Choose and combine your food in a simple, essential way, based on the 5 fundamental principles that are your orientation: local food, fresh food, seasonal food, whole food, optimal energetic mix of foods. Experiment and over time identify the right food for you for who you are here and now , tomorrow could be different.

HOW I PREPARE IT

Let food be beautiful, beauty nourishes us , it must be colourful, not sad and repetitive, if we fill ourselves with beautiful and good things we feel more beautiful and better. It is something linked to the true quality of the food, which does not remain unnoticed, which on the plate expresses contagious energy and freshness, and to the love with which it was cooked, to the care with which it is presented, harmonizing taste, shapes and colours. Food becomes art and as such timeless beauty.

POWER

Knowledge of the energetic and qualitative nature of foods allows us to be able to
making a huge leap in quality in our diet, that of mixing them in a targeted way, of using them in a way that is functional to our needs. By knowing our needs and our operating dynamics we can give direction and influence their impact.

COST

Regardless of what is commonly thought, choosing to eat less and eat better also has a positive impact on another aspect to which we are very sensitive, the shopping bill . If it is true that today healthy and organic food has a higher cost, a decidedly smaller quantity is needed, compared to preserved and depleted foods, which bloat but do not nourish, and do not even give the feeling of satiety. Foods such as whole grains, legumes or dried fruit have a strong nutritional power in a relatively limited weight, and this allows you to keep costs under control. In any case, your health is the most precious asset, it is not worth skimping in this essential area , it is perhaps worth giving it priority by spending neither too little nor too much, the right amount compared to its value
